Series A for Exe.dev (exe.dev)

Hi, co-founder here. If you would like more detail, and often HN does, I wrote up some more about what we are doing here: https://crawshaw.io/blog/building-a-cloud

I really resonated with your piece. I really have found once the friction to writing code went down, the time was immediately replaced with “setting up cloud abstractions”.

I’ve been using things like onrender.com for hosting projects, and once the initial pain of setting up was complete, I found shared infra like logs/metrics somewhat useful. Do you imagine building these in exe.dev? Or does doing so move into “more confusing abstractions” territory?

very nice service, i'm using it to build out an agent orchestration system and so far it's quite good. anything to share in terms of future plans/improvements to the platform?

I have used exe.dev and without a doubt you guys are building something cool. So kudos to you and congrats on this raise.

I keep hearing a lot of good buzz about their product. Haven't tried it myself but I mean to.

This is really interesting! Congrats on the Series A!

Are there any plans to offer a simple/configurable WAF either as an included feature or as an optional add-on?

EDIT: Removed one of my questions as it’s answered on the website, and apparently I need to learn to read.
