Because you can't work without it?

Yikes.

There was a top comment on a thread the other day where the guy said, if the AI is offline, it's a higher value activity for him to go for a walk for an hour than to try and read the code the AI wrote. At least with the walk, he comes back refreshed.

That's absolutely terrifying.

It's a great way to network and find companies that will need a ton of help in 6 months

I agree that it is immoral to obey some laws. Which ones are you saying are immoral here?

An AI researcher can work anywhere they want, can't they? At the minimum they could work in a different field entirely. It seems like a false dichotomy to frame the question around laws.

Got it. It's immoral because you said so.

What did I say was immoral?

>> The NSF has been fundamental in helping develop technology used in MRIs, cellphones, and it even helped get Duolingo get off the ground.

So besides the earth shattering societal changes made by Duolingo, nothing recent?

Must be just bad journalism.

I'm sure they contribute to more awesome things.

>> $10 billion now ... another $30 billion to follow if Anthropic hits certain performance targets...

Sort of mentioned in one of the side notes:

Acetaminophen is the only medication of its kind approved for infants under six months because the liver develops faster than the kidneys.

Maybe this flood is a response to the constant flood of:

"Why do people use Vercel?"

"Because it's cheap* and easy."

*expensive

>> sleep only when you are very tired

This flies in the face of all sleep research done at the Stanford Health Care’s Sleep Medicine Center.

You're confusing treatment for insomnia with recommendations for general sleep hygiene.

I heard that Simplex-2 will go even more viral.

Instead of better/cheaper/faster you just the the last one?

Back to Gemini.

Well, I guess I know what I'm doing for the first hour when 4.7 comes out.
