Coming to Canada soon, though in a limited way:

https://nationalpost.com/news/massive-risk-chinese-evs-are-t...

Hopefully this means competition with the other EV manufacturers in Canada too.

Unfortunately, because the number of imports is restricted the cars will likely be about as expensive as the competition. Chinese car companies have no strong incentive to undercut the market when they can take a fat margin and still sell out anyway.

Fantastic. More competition and choice is always, always better for the consumer.

I'm Backblaze user -- multiple machines, multiple accounts. I'm going to be dropping Backblaze over this change, that I'm only learning about from this thread.

Any suggestions for alternatives?

I didn't know about Webminal until today. Going to try it with some college students this afternoon!

Sure. We had quite a lot of universities and schools used this platform for their classes. I'll be away from system for next 48hrs though.Drop us a mail, will respond.

Base model M4 Mac Mini -- takes 2 seconds to load Word (and ready to type) without it being cached. Less than 1 second if I quit it completely, and launch again, which I assume is because it's cached in RAM.

Neither are earthworms.

That could explain one accidental shootdown. It cannot conceivably explain three.

How easy is it in an F-15E to modify a friend to a foe in the targeting systems?

The IFF system will trigger warning symbology on various cockpit displays but it won't prevent the pilot from employing weapons. At this point we don't know for certain whether IFF was enabled and working correctly on any of the aircraft involved.

If you read the article, you'd know most of the information came from Bellingcat and ABC.

NYT also did their own analysis which they had on their front-page just 3 days ago

I think it means that the entire site, including the school and several other buildings, were all hit at the sae time:

> Wes Bryant, a national security analyst who served in the US Air Force, also confirmed it was a Tomahawk missile.

> Bryant added that the evidence for multiple strikes on the entire IRGC compound "is indicative of a deliberate and precise" US operation.

> N R Jenzen Jones, director of Armament Research Services, previously told BBC Verify it was unlikely an Iranian missile had caused the significant blast damage seen at the school because they carry "relatively small explosive warheads".

You didn't read the link, did you? This is addressed in the article.
